Currently Documented Version Characteristics:
This design was part of the original series of forty-eight designs completed by October 1931 and was also included in later reprintings. Note that the title-caption is incorrectly spelled for English or Latin. The example images were taken with different cameras and under different lighting conditions and reproduction qualities. Version III copies typically do differ somewhat in printing technique and ink color from earlier version copies. There are two different background treatments. The lower background in versions I and II is a very pale gray and green overall bokashi (upper left). Later variants have an uninked background (lower left and lower right).

The example at lower left includes a printing flaw, a smear of green ink above the flower in the right center, and the brown staining on the top flowers is due to partial oxidation of the white pigment used in this later printing. The example at lower right is mat-burned, toned, and faded.
Note that wf30 is another of the designs with conflicting attribution markings.
The silhouette of wf30 is also used as the background element in a supplemental set design, wfx10.
