Design History:
This design was part of the original series of forty-eight designs completed by October 1931 but is not currently known from later printings. This version has a very pale green bokashi lower background fading out upwards.
Species Illustrated:
Garden Lupine, Lupinus polyphyllus cultivars; the wild North American species is usually called Large-leaved Lupine or Big-leaved Lupine. ("Lupine" may also be spelled "Lupin".)
